Try one: which piece completes the grid?
The real test has 25 questions like this one, from medium to hard.
Four abilities. One profile.
Most online tests use a single puzzle type. Intelligence is broader than that, so we measure the abilities that psychologists group under general intelligence.
- Fluid reasoning
Spotting the hidden rule in something you have never seen before.
Pattern matrices · number series · deduction with invented words
- Spatial
Turning objects in your mind, in two and three dimensions.
2D shape rotation · 3D cube figures · mirror detection
- Working memory
Holding information and working with it at the same time.
Digit span forward and backward · block-tapping sequences
- Quantitative
Turning a short real-world situation into the right calculation.
Rates · ratios · percentages · combined work

Built like a real assessment.
Scores come from item response theory, the statistical method behind modern professional exams. Harder questions count for more, and lucky guesses count for less.
The same difficulty for everyone
Every test follows the same difficulty sequence, from medium to hard. The puzzles are new each time, but nobody gets an easier test than anyone else.
New questions every time
Puzzles are built by our generators from scientific rule sets, at ten difficulty levels. You and your friend will never see the same test, so answers can't be shared.
A score with an honest range
Every measurement has some error. We show yours, for example 118 (112 to 124), the way professional tests do, instead of a single number pretending to be exact.
Every answer explained
Your report walks through each question: what you chose, the correct answer and the rule behind it. You leave knowing how you think, not just a number.
What your report looks like
Your score and its range, your percentile, your level from 1 to 10, an ability-by-ability breakdown, a full answer review, a personal coach and a certificate anyone can verify online.
